What This Role Is About
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Python Developer based in Kathmandu. The role involves developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of applications, integrating various technologies, and delivering robust, scalable software solutions. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and test features, ensuring software performance, security, and scalability. Regular problem-solving and a commitment to high-quality code are integral to the role.
What We are Looking For
- 3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Engineer, with a strong backend focus in Python
- Strong Python skills with hands-on experience building and maintaining scalable backend systems
- Solid experience in Frontend development with ReactJS, building responsive and maintainable client-side applications
- Good understanding of frontend architecture, state management, component design, and API integration
- Experience developing end-to-end features across backend services and frontend applications
- Solid understanding of AI tools and AI-driven development workflows
- Comfortable writing and reviewing code with AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor), while maintaining clear understanding of structure, logic, and AI-generated output
- Practical experience with AWS (deployment, infrastructure, and core services)
- Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design, migrations, and query optimization
- Experience designing and working within microservices architectures
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining third-party integrations
- Ability to independently analyze third-party documentation and APIs, understand system behavior, and design reliable integrations
- Good system design fundamentals and strong problem-solving skills
- Able to take ownership of features from design to production, working independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
- Very good communication skills in English, as the role requires regular communication with the clients and teams at international locations.
