Job DescriptionOur Client, Himalayan Haulers Pvt. Ltd is looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead business development initiatives, strengthen client relationships, and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate should possess strong sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills, along with a good understanding of the logistics and cargo industry. This role requires frequent client visits, market exploration, and strategic sales planning to expand the company's customer base and market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business growth and revenue targets.
- Identify and acquire new clients within the logistics, transportation, cargo, and related sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and business negotiations.
- Prepare and present customized logistics and cargo solutions based on client requirements.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and emerging business opportunities.
- Generate leads through networking, referrals, field visits, and market research.
- Collaborate with operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for management.
- Represent the company at industry events, business meetings, and networking opportunities.
- Travel frequently to meet clients and explore new business opportunities across different locations.
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 4–5 years of professional sales experience.
- Prior experience in the logistics, cargo, freight forwarding, transportation, or supply chain industry will be highly preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
- Experience in B2B sales and client relationship management will be an advantage.
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel for client meetings and business development activities.
- Strong professional networking and relationship-building abilities.
- Knowledge of the logistics and cargo industry will be highly advantageous.
- Valid driving license will be considered an added advantage.
