Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in Kathmandu for a Video Editor Intern. The Video Editor Intern will be responsible for editing video content, arranging video footage, inserting music, transitions, and special effects to create finalized videos. The intern will collaborate with team members to ensure the project aligns with the content strategy and brand guidelines. Tasks will also include organizing raw footage, interpreting creative briefs, and maintaining project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in video editing tools and software, such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar applications
- Understanding of video production workflows, including organizing and managing raw footage
- Basic knowledge of color grading, sound editing, and special effects
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and collaborate with team members to achieve visual storytelling goals
- Attention to detail, creativity, and passion for video editing
- Familiarity with social media platforms and digital content trends is a plus
- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Film Production, Media Studies, or a related field
