Job Description

ROLE PURPOSE

The Project Management & Business Analyst Trainee role is designed for individuals who want to build a strong career in Project Management, Business Analysis, Product Management, and Agile Delivery. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience working on real software and digital product projects, collaborating with developers, designers, and business teams. You will learn how projects are planned, how business requirements are converted into technical solutions, and how digital products are delivered using Agile methodologies.

This role provides practical exposure to project planning, requirement analysis, stakeholder communication, documentation, Agile project execution, and product development processes. The trainee will work closely with cross-functional teams and senior management, providing an excellent learning environment and career growth opportunity in project management and product development.


ACCOUNTABILITIES

Project Management Support

  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and task tracking.
  • Maintain project documentation, trackers, and status reports.
  • Monitor project milestones and deadlines.
  • Assist in organizing meetings, preparing agendas, and tracking action items.
  • Support resource planning and task coordination.

Business Analyst Support

  • Assist in gathering and documenting business and system requirements.
  • Help prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), and user stories.
  • Assist in requirement analysis and process documentation.
  • Support backlog preparation and prioritization.
  • Coordinate between business stakeholders and development teams.

Agile & Delivery Support

  • Assist in Scrum activities such as sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Track sprint progress and update project dashboards.
  • Help identify risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Support delivery tracking and reporting.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare project reports, meeting minutes, and documentation.
  • Maintain project dashboards and status reports.
  • Document workflows, processes, and system features.


TECHNICAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Required Technical Skills

  • Basic understanding of Project Management and Business Analysis concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira, Trello, Asana, or similar.
  • Basic understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Documentation and reporting skills.
  • Requirement gathering and process documentation knowledge.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX concepts is an advantage.

Required Non-Technical Skills

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new tools and processes.
  • Attention to detail and documentation skills.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, IT, Computer Science, or related field (running or completed).
  • Interest in Project Management, Business Analysis, or Product Management.
  • Basic knowledge of Agile and SDLC is preferred.
  • Internship or academic project experience is an advantage.

WORKING HOURS

  • Working Days: Monday to Friday
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
  • Weekend and public holidays will be off unless required for special project activities.


PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT

The Project Management & Business Analyst Trainee role is primarily office-based in a collaborative work environment with access to project management tools, meeting rooms, and development teams. The role may include coordination meetings, documentation work, and project tracking activities. Flexible or remote work may be allowed depending on project requirements and company policies.
