Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Supply Chain & Logistics Management
- Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including inbound material movement and outbound finished goods distribution.
- Coordinate closely with the Factory/Plant Manager to align logistics planning with production schedules.
- Ensure integration with ERP/digital logistics systems for real-time visibility and operational control.
- Outbound Logistics & Distribution
- Oversee dispatch planning, vehicle allocation, and route optimization to ensure timely deliveries.
- Manage bulk shipments, jar distribution, and secondary transportation networks across regions.
- Monitor delivery timelines and ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs).
- Transportation & Fleet Coordination
- Coordinate with transporters, drivers, and third-party logistics providers.
- Optimize route planning and vehicle utilization to improve efficiency and reduce logistics costs.
- Track shipments and proactively resolve delays, escalations, and delivery issues.
- Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track logistics KPIs such as on-time delivery, load utilization, and transportation cost efficiency.
- Prepare regular performance reports with actionable insights for management.
- Identify process gaps and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Coordination & Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with sales, warehouse, and production teams for smooth order fulfillment.
- Maintain strong relationships with transport vendors and service providers.
- Ensure effective communication between operations, transporters, and field logistics teams.
- Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with Nepal transport regulations and company policies.
- Monitor safety standards in the transportation and handling of goods.
- Identify potential logistics risks and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
