We are looking for a mid-senior level Procurement / Purchase Officer with strong market expertise and supplier networks to manage end-to-end sourcing, procurement, and import operations for food and agro commodities.

This role is ideal for someone who can independently handle bulk purchasing, optimize costs, and ensure smooth coordination across vendors, logistics, and sales teams

Key Responsibilities

Source and manage vendors (rice mills, oil mills, agro suppliers) for bulk procurement
Track daily market rates, prepare comparison reports, and drive cost-effective buying decisions
Plan and execute purchases based on sales forecasts, stock levels, and supplier capacity
Manage procurement of packaging materials and maintain optimal inventory levels
Handle import processes including LC documentation, shipment coordination, and compliance
Negotiate supplier pricing and freight rates to optimize overall costs
Plan logistics and coordinate transport to minimize delays and inefficiencies
Collaborate with Sales & Operations teams for weekly supply planning
Prepare weekly and monthly procurement reports for management
