Job Summary
IMS Software Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a motivated and creative Video Editor – Trainee to join our team. The trainee will be responsible for creating short, engaging instructional video clips that demonstrate how to use our software applications, including TimeTrax, DMS, and other IMS software solutions. The primary focus of this role is to produce clear and user-friendly tutorial videos for software manuals, training materials, and customer support resources.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit and produce short instructional videos demonstrating software features and workflows.
- Create step-by-step tutorial clips using screen recordings for IMS software products.
- Add captions, annotations, callouts, zoom effects, transitions, and highlights to improve viewer understanding.
- Organize and edit raw screen recordings into concise, easy-to-follow learning content.
- Ensure videos maintain consistent branding, formatting, and quality standards.
- Collaborate with the Product, Support, and Training teams to understand software functionalities and documentation requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Education qualification: +2 graduate in any stream
- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Filmora,CapCut, or similar tools.
- Basic understanding of screen recording and video editing techniques.
- Good communication skills and attention to detail.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new software and editing techniques.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with creating software tutorials or educational videos.
- Knowledge of screen recording tools such as OBS Studio or Camtasia.
- Basic understanding of motion graphics and visual storytelling.
