Job Description

Role Description The Operation Manager Retail is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu, responsible for overseeing daily retail operations and ensuring an efficient, customer-focused environment. This role includes managing store performance, monitoring inventory levels, supervising staff scheduling, and ensuring adherence to company policies and standards. The Operation Manager Retail will analyze sales data, implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitability, and coordinate merchandising and promotional activities. The role also involves coaching and supporting retail team members, resolving operational issues, maintaining strong relationships with vendors, and ensuring compliance with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Experience in retail operations management, including store supervision and day-to-day operational oversight.
Skills in inventory control, stock planning, and basic supply chain coordination.
Ability to analyze sales reports, track key performance indicators, and implement data-driven improvement plans.
Strong team leadership, staff training, and performance management capabilities.
Customer service orientation with experience managing customer issues and enhancing in-store experience.
Proficiency in using retail management software and basic office tools (e.g., Excel, POS systems).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Retail, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
Prior experience in a multi-store or high-volume retail environment is an advantage.
Ability to work on-site with flexibility for weekends and peak business hours as needed.
