About the RoleMindrisers Institute of Technology is looking for a skilled and creative Video Editing & Motion Graphics Instructor to join our team on a contract/project basis. The instructor will be responsible for delivering practical, industry-focused training in video editing, motion graphics, and related creative production tools.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical expertise, practical industry experience, and the ability to explain creative concepts clearly and effectively to students.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct engaging and practical classes on Video Editing and Motion Graphics.
- Develop and deliver course content, lesson plans, assignments and practical projects.
- Teach video editing workflows from basic to advanced levels.
- Train students in industry-standard software and creative tools.
- Demonstrate professional techniques for editing, transitions, color correction, audio editing, effects and storytelling.
- Teach motion graphics principles, animation techniques, typography, visual effects and compositing.
- Provide practical exercises and real-world, project-based learning.
- Review students' assignments and projects and provide constructive feedback.
- Guide students in developing professional portfolios and project work.
- Keep course content updated with current industry trends and practices.
- Maintain a professional, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the academic/training team when required.
- Proven experience in Video Editing and Motion Graphics.
- Strong knowledge of relevant editing and motion graphics software, such as:
- Adobe Premiere Pro
- Adobe After Effects
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Illustrator
- DaVinci Resolve or other relevant tools
- Good understanding of video production, editing principles, storytelling, animation and visual effects.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to teach both beginners and intermediate-level learners.
- Practical industry experience or a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Previous teaching or training experience will be an advantage.
- Creative and detail-oriented approach.
- Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
- Ability to explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently on project-based assignments.
- Willingness to adapt teaching methods according to project and student requirements.
