Job Description
Ace International Business School is inviting applications for the position of Module Leader Programming 0.
The module introduces students to the fundamentals of programming, with emphasis on writing, organising, debugging and applying code using real-world data.
Key Teaching Areas
· Core programming concepts and coding structures
· Variables, data types, operators and expressions
· Conditional statements and iteration
· Functions, modular programming and classes
· Object-Oriented Programming
· Python, Java, C#, C or C++ concepts
· Command-line, desktop and cloud development environments
· Working with CSV, JSON, XML and HTML data
· Debugging and error handling
· Libraries and real-world datasets
· Basic 2D graphics
· Serial and parallel execution concepts
Candidate Profile
· Master’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computing, Information Technology, or a closely related discipline
· Strong programming fundamentals and practical coding experience
· Ability to teach programming concepts effectively to beginner-level students
· Prior higher education teaching experience preferred
· Candidates with at least one year of teaching experience in an international, transnational, or foreign-affiliated higher education programme will be prioritised
· Experience teaching Programming Fundamentals, Object-Oriented Programming, Python, Java, C#, C/C++, or related modules will be advantageous
The successful candidate will be responsible for module delivery, assessment, student support and academic quality assurance.
