Position: Senior Manager – Human ResourcesDepartment: Human Resources & Administration
Location: Biratnagar (Factory)
Key Responsibilities
- HR Strategy & Workforce Planning
•Prepare annual manpower plans and recruitment budgets.
•Ensure optimum manpower utilization and workforce productivity.
•Support organizational restructuring and succession planning.
- Recruitment & Talent Acquisition
•Coordinate manpower planning with department heads.
•Ensure timely onboarding and induction.
•Develop talent pipelines for critical factory positions.
- Industrial Relations & Union Management
•Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, and conflict resolution.
•Conduct domestic inquiries and recommend disciplinary actions.
•Ensure industrial harmony and prevent labor disputes.
- Performance Management
•Coordinate annual performance appraisals.
•Support promotions, transfers, and succession planning.
•Monitor employee productivity and performance improvement plans.
- Learning & Development
•Prepare annual training calendars.
•Organize technical, behavioral, safety, and leadership training.
•Evaluate training effectiveness.
- Compensation & Benefits
•Ensure timely processing of incentives, overtime, and statutory benefits.
•Administer employee welfare programs.
•Conduct salary benchmarking and recommend revisions.
- Statutory Compliance
•Nepal Labor Act and Labor Rules
•Social Security Fund (SSF)

•Internal HR policies and procedures
- Employee Engagement
•Improve employee morale and retention.
•Coordinate welfare programs, recognition initiatives, and communication forums.
•Promote organizational culture and company values.
- Administration
•Manage security, housekeeping, transport, canteen, accommodation, and facility management.
•Ensure efficient vendor management for administrative services.
- HR Operations
•Monitor attendance and leave management.
•Ensure timely issuance of HR letters and documentation.
•Prepare HR dashboards and monthly management reports.
- Health, Safety & Compliance
•Participate in safety committees and emergency preparedness activities.
•Ensure compliance with health and safety policies.
- Budget Management
•Control manpower and administrative costs.
•Monitor departmental expenses.
Educational Qualification
•Master's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
•Additional certification in Labour Law, Industrial Relations, or HR Analytics is preferred.
Experience
•12–15 years of HR experience.
•Minimum 5 years in a senior HR leadership role within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
•Experience in factory HR, industrial relations, and statutory compliance is essential.
