Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Cluster HR Head to lead the Human Resources function across multiple manufacturing units. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving HR strategy, ensuring consistent implementation of HR policies, partnering with business leaders, and fostering a high-performance culture across all assigned locations. This role requires regular travel to manufacturing plants and close collaboration with plant leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the HR function across multiple manufacturing units within the assigned cluster.
  • Partner with business and plant leadership to align HR initiatives with organizational objectives.
  • Drive talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Ensure effective implementation of HR policies, processes, and compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong employee relations, proactively addressing workforce issues and promoting a positive work environment.
  • Oversee industrial relations and support negotiations with employee representatives where applicable.
  • Monitor HR metrics and provide data-driven insights to improve organizational effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular visits to manufacturing plants to engage with employees, support HR teams, and ensure consistent HR practices.
  • Mentor and develop plant HR teams to strengthen HR capability across the cluster.

Desired Candidate Profile

  • MBA/PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with significant exposure to the FMCG manufacturing sector.
  • Proven experience managing HR operations across multiple plants or business units.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing HR, industrial relations, labor laws, and statutory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead geographically dispersed teams.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently to manufacturing plants.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in a multi-unit FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong exposure to plant HR operations, employee relations, and change management.
