Job Description
Hoste Hainse is looking for a Leap Leader to oversee and manage Collaborative Schools Network’s (CSN) responsibilities across four LEAP schools in Sarlahi, in coordination with the Project Co-Coordinator.
Purpose of the Role
• Ensure that all four LEAP (Lesson Plans, Educational Materials, and Pedagogical Support) schools in Sarlahi provide high-quality teaching and learning.
• Build and maintain productive relationships with the municipality.
This role reports to the Deputy Executive Director, who will monitor and evaluate the Leader’s performance and daily responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare LEAP Action Plan (LAP) in coordination with the Hoste Hainse Office.
• Coach primary-level teachers to improve teaching quality by supporting the implementation of CSN lesson plans.
• Observe teachers regularly (atleast one school per week) and provide clear, constructive feedback. Agree on practical action points to support improvement.
• Follow a systematic and well-planned coaching approach, guided by CSN lesson plans.
• Ensure effective use workbooks in classrooms to improve student learning.
• Support and strengthen CSN’s relationship in Hoste Hainse Schools, working closely with the teachers to achieve program goals.
• Lead and support scheduled school update meetings with the Education Officers, in coordination with the Project Coordinator.
• Coordinate monitoring and evaluation activities twice a year across four Hoste Hainse LEAP schools, in coordination with the Hoste Hainse Office.
• Lead teacher training in four Hoste Hainse LEAP schools in coordination with the Amaalya SK Foundation and CSN.
• Track student progress using data from continuous assessments and foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) evaluations to inform support strategies.
• Facilitate regular LEAP meetings with principals and maintain logbooks to ensure effective coordination and progress tracking.
• Collect the photos of students who are part of our Project 3k in co-ordination with the teachers and send it to Hoste Hainse Office.
• Weekly report regarding activities happening at the Hoste Hainse 4 schools.
• Co-create and develop education programs with local government.
