Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Finance and HR Officer to manage financial records, budgeting, payroll, HR administration, and related compliance activities. The ideal candidate should have strong accounting and documentation skills, high integrity, and the ability to maintain confidentiality while supporting both finance and human resource functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate financial records, accounts, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting, financial planning, and regular expenditure monitoring.
  • Manage payroll and ensure timely and accurate salary processing.
  • Prepare financial reports and support donor reporting requirements.
  • Assist with internal and external audits by preparing necessary documents and records.
  • Handle day-to-day HR administration, including employee records and documentation.
  • Support the implementation and compliance of organizational HR policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial, HR, and organizational policies.
  • Maintain confidentiality of financial, employee, and organizational information.
  • Coordinate with management and relevant teams on finance and HR-related matters.
  • Perform other finance and HR duties as assigned by management.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in an NGO/INGO or development organization.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting, financial documentation, and MS Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Knowledge of donor requirements and reporting procedures is preferred.
  • Practical understanding of HR administration and organizational policies.
  • Experience handling both finance and HR functions will be an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as coordinate effectively with a team.
