Program Manager

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Program Manager to lead the planning, implementation, monitoring, and overall management of organizational programs. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in NGO/INGO program management, donor compliance, budgeting, reporting, stakeholder coordination, and team leadership. Knowledge of human trafficking, gender-based violence (GBV), safeguarding, and related social issues will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, implementation, and overall management of assigned programs in line with organizational objectives and donor requirements.
• Develop program work plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Provide effective leadership, supervision, and guidance to program staff and ensure smooth team coordination.
• Monitor program progress, outputs, outcomes, and expenditure against approved plans and budgets.
• Ensure programs are implemented in compliance with donor requirements, organizational policies, and relevant standards.
• Prepare timely and accurate narrative, financial, and donor reports in coordination with relevant departments.
• Coordinate with donors, government agencies, partner organizations, community representatives, and other key stakeholders.
• Identify program challenges and risks and develop appropriate solutions and corrective actions.
• Support monitoring, evaluation, learning, and documentation of program activities and results.
• Maintain proper program records, documentation, and reporting systems.
• Organize and participate in meetings, workshops, trainings, consultations, and stakeholder events as required.
• Ensure safeguarding, gender sensitivity, and ethical standards are integrated into program implementation.
• Contribute to proposal development, concept notes, budgets, and fundraising initiatives where required.
• Represent the organization in relevant meetings, networks, and external forums.
• Perform other program-related duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Master’s degree in social sciences, Development Studies, Public Health, Project Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial or program management experience in an NGO/INGO or development organization.
• Proven experience in program planning, implementation, budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
• Experience working with donor compliance requirements and donor reporting.
• Strong experience in stakeholder coordination and partnership management.
• Knowledge of human trafficking, gender-based violence (GBV), safeguarding, or related social-development issues will be an advantage.
