Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate, responsible, and experienced Case Manager to provide survivor-centered case management and support to individuals affected by human trafficking and gender-based violence. The Case Manager will be responsible for assessing individual needs, coordinating counselling and other support services, maintaining confidential case documentation, facilitating referrals, and supporting survivors throughout rescue, repatriation, rehabilitation, and reintegration processes.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate empathy, sound judgement, strong communication skills, and a strong commitment to confidentiality, safeguarding, and survivor-centered practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide survivor-centered case management based on individual needs, risks, priorities, and informed choices.
  • Conduct case assessments and develop appropriate individual case plans in consultation with survivors.
  • Coordinate counselling, psychosocial support, medical care, legal assistance, shelter, and other required services.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date case files, records, assessments, referrals, and follow-up documentation.
  • Identify protection concerns and ensure appropriate safeguarding and risk-management measures are in place.
  • Facilitate timely referrals to relevant government agencies, service providers, legal professionals, health facilities, shelters, and other support organizations.
  • Follow up on referred cases and monitor the progress and outcomes of support services.
  • Coordinate and follow up on legal cases in collaboration with legal service providers and relevant authorities.
  • Support survivors throughout rescue, repatriation, rehabilitation, and reintegration processes.
  • Coordinate with families, communities, government authorities, partner organizations, and other stakeholders while maintaining survivor confidentiality and consent.
  • Ensure survivors are informed about available services, their rights, and relevant procedures.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and ensure that sensitive case information is handled in accordance with organizational safeguarding and data-protection policies.
  • Identify emerging challenges and risks and report them appropriately to the Program Manager.
  • Prepare case-related reports, updates, and documentation as required.
  • Participate in case conferences, team meetings, trainings, workshops, and coordination activities.
  • Travel to field locations when required to provide case follow-up and support.
  • Perform other case-management and program-related duties assigned by the supervisor.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant professional experience in case management, social services, protection, counselling, or related areas.

Additional Requirements

  • Recognized certification in psychosocial counselling.
  • Experience in survivor support, case management, referrals, or protection services.
  • Experience supporting survivors of human trafficking or gender-based violence (GBV) will be an advantage.
  • Strong willingness and ability to travel to field locations as required.
