Job Description

Peace Rehabilitation Center is seeking a creative, technically capable, and responsible IT and Social Media Assistant to support the organization’s digital presence, IT operations, communication activities, and content creation. The ideal candidate should have practical skills in social media management, graphic design, photography, videography, and digital tools, along with a strong understanding of confidentiality and survivor-sensitive communication.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and update the organization's website and social media platforms.
  • Provide day-to-day IT and basic technical support to staff and organizational activities.
  • Create engaging digital content for social media, website, and other communication platforms.
  • Design graphics, posters, banners, and other digital materials using relevant design tools.
  • Capture and edit photographs and videos for organizational activities, events, and campaigns.
  • Edit photos and videos for social media and other communication purposes.
  • Support online meetings, webinars, presentations, and virtual events.
  • Maintain organized digital files, media archives, and relevant documentation.
  • Assist with website content updates and basic WordPress management.
  • Ensure digital content and communication follow organizational safeguarding, confidentiality, and survivor-sensitive standards.
  • Perform other IT, communication, and digital media-related duties as assigned.
Job Specification
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Digital Media, Mass Communication, or a related field; or
  • Diploma/Intermediate-level qualification with strong practical skills and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Practical knowledge of Canva, social media management, photography, videography, and photo/video editing.
  • Knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, and CapCut will be an advantage.
  • Previous experience in NGO/INGO communication or digital media is preferred.
  • Good understanding of digital content creation and social media platforms.
  • Strong organizational and file management skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Commitment to safe, confidential, and survivor-sensitive communication.
