Job Description
Job DescriptionThe incumbent shall be responsible for the achievement of assigned sales targets, development of new business opportunities, strengthening of customer relationships, and expansion of market share within the designated territory. The role requires extensive field travel, strategic market coverage, and effective coordination with internal departments to ensure superior customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute sales strategies to achieve defined business targets and organizational objectives.
- Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within assigned territories.
- Conduct structured customer visits, product presentations, and field demonstrations.
- Develop and maintain long-term professional relationships with customers including contractors, fleet operators, transport entrepreneurs, farmers, and institutional clients.
- Ensure effective territory management and continuous market penetration.
- Gather and analyze market intelligence including competitor activities and customer feedback.
- Coordinate with service, spare parts, finance, and operations departments for seamless customer support.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline development, and reporting documentation.

- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Marketing, Agriculture, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Automobile Industry
- Commercial Vehicles
- Construction Equipment
- Agricultural Machinery / Tractor Sales
- Heavy Equipment / Industrial Sales

- Strong sales acumen with demonstrated target achievement capability
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Strong customer relationship management orientation
- Sound understanding of market dynamics and business development strategies
- High level of integrity, discipline, and professional conduct
- Ability to work independently under field conditions
- Proficiency in MS Office and reporting systems
- Ownership of a two-wheeler for official field operations
- Valid motorcycle driving license
- Willingness to undertake extensive field travel across assigned territory
- Strong familiarity with local market conditions will be considered an added advantage
