Job Title: Senior Officer | Business Development & Sales

Designation:Senior Officer | Business Development & Sales

Reports to: Manager | Business Development and Sales

Location: Bakhundole, Lalitpur 44600, Nepal

Shift: Standard (09:00 AM to 06:00 PM) from Monday to Friday 


Position Overview:

The Sr. Sales Officer will be responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key client accounts, and leading the sales cycle from prospecting to closing. This role involves strategic market analysis and building long-term partnerships to achieve the company’s expansion targets.


Roles and Responsibilities

Proactively identify and prospect new business leads through various channels

  • Identify and qualify potential clients through networking, referrals, outbound outreach, and digital platforms.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective business opportunities.


Conduct in-depth market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitor movements.

  • Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.
  • Use market insights to identify new business opportunities and support sales strategies.


Present and demonstrate the company’s services/products to potential C-suite clients.

  • Deliver engaging presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Clearly communicate the value and benefits of the company's offerings.


Negotiate contract terms and close high-value deals to meet expansion goals.

  • Prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, and address client concerns.
  • Close strategic deals while ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.


Collaborate with the cross departments to align sales strategies with product offerings.

  • Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure sales strategies align with company objectives.
  • Support seamless communication throughout the sales process.


Manage and update the CRM database regularly to ensure data integrity and track sales progress.

  • Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and client interactions.
  • Monitor sales activities and generate reports to track pipeline progress.


Skills and Qualifications

Related skills and Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT or a related field (MBA is a plus)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in sales, preferably in the IT industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.


Competencies and Soft Skills 

  • Client Relationship Management, Strategic thinking, market research, competitor analysis, sales forecasting and Reporting
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools, MS-Office Suite, Google Workspace (Google Docs, Sheets, Slides etc), and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly motivated and target-driven.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
