The organization emphasizes fairness, transparency, and professional development throughout the recruitment journey.Role Description The Modern Trade Executive – FMCG (Cosmetics) will manage relationships with modern trade outlets in Kathmandu, including supermarkets, cosmetic retail chains, and organized retail stores. This full-time, on-site role involves overseeing product listing, shelf placement, and in-store visibility for cosmetics brands, as well as coordinating promotions and ensuring proper execution of trade marketing activities. The role includes monitoring sales performance, tracking inventory levels, and working closely with store managers and distributors to meet sales targets. The executive will prepare regular sales and market reports, analyze customer and store feedback, and recommend actions to improve brand presence and performance. Collaboration with internal sales, marketing, and supply chain teams is required to ensure timely replenishment, accurate pricing, and consistent brand standards at all outlets.
Qualifications
- Experience in FMCG or cosmetics sales, preferably in modern trade or organized retail environments.
- Strong skills in relationship management, negotiation, and coordination with retailers and internal teams.
- Ability to analyze sales data, track performance metrics, and prepare clear, actionable reports.
- Knowledge of merchandising principles, in-store branding, and trade marketing practices.
- Good communication skills in English and Nepali, with the ability to present ideas clearly and professionally.
- Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with sales reporting tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kathmandu, conduct regular store visits, and adapt to a fast-paced retail environment.
- A customer-focused mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and in a team.
