Assistant Manager - Sales (2 days left)

The Assistant Manager will support the sales team in delivering strong business performance and a consistently high standard of client experience. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional who can independently manage clients, build long-term relationships, support team members, and confidently oversee the showroom when required. The role remains hands-on, with a strong focus on clienteling, team support and smooth day-to-day store operations.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Client Management

• Achieve individual sales targets and contribute towards overall store performance.
• Understand client needs and recommend suitable jewelry with confidence and sensitivity.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships through thoughtful follow-up and personalized engagement.
• Manage enquiries, pending opportunities and client follow-ups in a timely manner.
• Identify suitable opportunities for cross-selling and upgrading based on the client’s needs.
• Maintain accurate client information and interaction notes in the CRM/client database.
• Support re-engagement of inactive or dormant clients.

Client Experience

• Ensure every client receives a warm, attentive and personalized showroom experience.
• Maintain Luxury standards of hospitality, discretion and professionalism.
• Handle client concerns calmly and take ownership of resolving issues wherever possible.
• Ensure commitments made to clients are properly followed through.
• Support the team in handling important, high-value or sensitive client interactions.

Showroom & Team Support

• Support the Store Manager in maintaining smooth day-to-day showroom operations.
• Take responsibility for the sales floor when the Store Manager is unavailable.
• Ensure clients are attended to promptly and team coverage is well managed.
• Guide and support Sales Advisors during client interactions where required.
• Help maintain discipline around client follow-up, CRM usage and sales ownership.
• Support new and developing team members through practical guidance and coaching.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Operations, Accounts and other teams to ensure smooth client fulfilment.

Experience & Qualifications

• Relevant experience in sales, client servicing, luxury retail, jewelry, premium fashion, watches, hospitality, or a similar client-facing environment.
• Experience handling clients independently and working towards sales targets.
• Previous experience as a Senior Sales Advisor, Team Lead, Supervisor or similar role is preferred.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and maintaining client follow-ups.
• Graduate in business or a related field.
