Job Description
We are looking for a Sales Officer for a growing CPVC Pipes & Fittings business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales, building strong relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, plumbers, contractors and other channel partners, and expanding the company’s market presence.
The position is Kathmandu-based, with regular travel within Kathmandu Valley and other assigned areas as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets for CPVC pipes and fittings.
- Develop and maintain relationships with dealers, distributors, retailers, plumbers, contractors and builders.
- Identify new customers and business opportunities in assigned territories.
- Conduct regular market visits and generate new leads.
- Visit existing customers regularly to understand requirements and ensure continued business.
- Promote the company’s CPVC pipes and fittings and communicate product features effectively.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products and market trends.
- Follow up on quotations, orders, payments and customer requirements.
- Coordinate with distributors and internal teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
- Maintain daily sales and field visit reports.
- Support the company in expanding its dealer and distribution network.
- Ensure proper market coverage and achievement of assigned sales targets.
Candidate Profile
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Management or a related field preferred.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in sales, preferably in CPVC/PVC pipes & fittings, building materials, plumbing products, hardware or construction-related products.
- Good communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Strong field sales and customer-handling abilities.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.
- Willingness to travel extensively as required.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.
- Candidates with an existing network among dealers, plumbers, contractors or hardware stores will be preferred.
