Each operator is thoroughly trained and approved on client-specific workflows before working on live files, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Role Description The Cargowise Operator will work full time on-site at the Biratnagar office, handling end-to-end data and process management within the Cargowise platform for international freight forwarding and logistics operations. Responsibilities include creating and updating shipment files, entering and validating operational and customer data, preparing and maintaining documentation for freight forwarding, customs, and compliance, and monitoring shipment milestones to keep records accurate and up to date. The role involves coordinating with internal teams and client stakeholders to ensure that workflows, service standards, and timelines are met, while adhering to each client’s specific operating procedures. The Cargowise Operator will also assist with billing, invoicing, and basic financial entries in the system, troubleshoot data or process issues, and help continuously improve the quality and efficiency of back-office operations.

Qualifications

• Experience using Cargowise or similar freight forwarding / logistics ERP systems, with strong data entry and data validation skills.
• Knowledge of freight forwarding processes, customs documentation, and compliance requirements, ideally within international logistics.
• Proficiency with basic office software (e.g., Excel, email, web-based tools) and ability to learn new digital systems quickly.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to communicate clearly with internal teams and external clients.
• High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple files and tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work on-site in Biratnagar, collaborate within a team, and follow client-specific workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Prior experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or 3PL operations is an advantage.
• Relevant diploma or degree in logistics, supply chain, business, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory when offset by strong practical experience.
