Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, tech-savvy, and highly motivated business development executive to drive our nationwide business expansion and scale our international export operations. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker capable of maintaining robust relationships with existing clients while aggressively hunting for new business. A major mandate of this role is to spearhead the establishment of new Dpnex branch offices across all seven provinces of Nepal. Furthermore, the candidate must possess a strong understanding of AI systems, digital marketing strategies, and modern IT integrations to modernise our client acquisition and retention processes.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Expansion & International Exports
Drive Export Growth: Identify, target, and secure new corporate and B2B clients requiring international shipment and export services from Nepal to global destinations.
Market Penetration: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to increase market share in the freight forwarding and international courier sectors.
Revenue Generation: Meet and exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs related to international export volume and revenue generation.
Branch Expansion (Nationwide)
Provincial Setup: Lead the strategic initiative to establish and operationalise Dpnex branch offices in every single province across Nepal.
Local Partnerships: Identify strategic locations, negotiate with local vendors, and establish a strong regional network of agents and partners to ensure smooth branch operations.
Market Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and market research in targeted provincial hubs to optimise branch placement and service offerings.
Client Maintenance & Acquisition
Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for existing key accounts. Ensure high client retention rates through regular follow-ups, business reviews, and exceptional customer service.
New Client Onboarding: Seamlessly transition newly acquired clients into the Dpnex ecosystem, ensuring they understand our service portal, tracking systems, and operational flows.
Issue Resolution: Proactively address and resolve any client grievances, shipment delays, or operational bottlenecks in collaboration with the operations team.
Digital Marketing, AI & IT Integration
Digital Strategy: Collaborate with the marketing team to design and deploy targeted digital marketing campaigns (LinkedIn B2B, Google Ads, SEO content) to attract export-heavy businesses.
AI Utilisation: Leverage AI-driven tools and CRM software to automate lead generation, forecast sales trends, and optimise route planning/pricing for clients.
IT System Advocacy: Ensure correct IT integration between the client's platforms and Dpnex’s digital infrastructure (e.g., API integrations for e-commerce clients and automated tracking updates).
Data-Driven Decisions: Analyse digital campaign metrics and CRM data to refine sales pitches and identify lucrative market segments.
Job Specification
- Education: Bachelor’s or master's degree in business administration, marketing, supply chain management, or information technology.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4 years of proven experience in business development, corporate sales, or key account management, preferably within the logistics, freight forwarding, or courier industry.
- Tech-Savvy: Strong familiarity with modern IT integrations; AI productivity tools (e.g., ChatGPT, AI lead scoring); and robust CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
- Digital Marketing Knowledge: Solid understanding of digital marketing funnels, B2B lead generation, and social media marketing.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of international shipping regulations, customs clearance processes, and export logistics from Nepal.
- Mobility: Willingness and ability to travel extensively across all 7 provinces of Nepal.
