Job Summary
The Sales Officer will be responsible for achieving sales targets, expanding market reach, and strengthening relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and retailers in the assigned territory. The role involves managing the field sales team, ensuring product availability and visibility, and driving growth of the company's brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Target: Achieve monthly and periodic sales targets within the assigned area.
- Market Expansion: Develop new outlets, dealers and retailers and increase product distribution and market coverage.
- Distributor & Retailer Management: Maintain good relationships with distributors and retailers and ensure regular product availability.
- Market Execution: Ensure proper product visibility, merchandising and implementation of company schemes and promotions.
- Reporting & Market Intelligence: Submit regular sales reports and provide information on competitor activities, pricing, market trends and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of proven experience in sales within the FMCG sector.
- Target-oriented with good analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Office, and sales reporting tools.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
