Job Description
About The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, highly organized, and culturally adept Executive Assistant to support the Deputy General Manager (DGM)—a key leadership role within vivo Nepal’s expanding global operations. This position requires fluency in Mandarin Chinese, a strong comfort level with fieldwork—including regular market visits—and the ability to serve as a trusted liaison between senior leadership, Chinese-speaking partners, and internal stakeholders.

In this dynamic role, you’ll blend high-level administrative support with strategic market engagement—ensuring seamless communication, timely execution, and actionable insights that drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the DGM, including calendar management, meeting scheduling, and travel arrangements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Chinese-speaking stakeholders; translate and interpret communications (emails, calls, meetings) between Chinese and Nepali/English as needed.
  • Conduct regular market visits to gather insights, monitor competitor activity, collect pricing/promotion data, and support business development initiatives on behalf of the DGM.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and briefing materials for the DGM based on market research and internal data.
  • Coordinate logistics for the DGM’s meetings, events, and business trips (both domestic and international).
  • Maintain confidentiality while handling sensitive documents, correspondence, and executive information.
  • Support procurement and office administration tasks as required (e.g., stationery, bookings, reimbursements).
  • Liaise with internal departments (sales, marketing, supply chain) and external partners to ensure smooth execution of the DGM’s directives.

Job Specification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or in a similar administrative/coordination role, preferably supporting senior management.
  • Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) is mandatory; strong command of English and Nepali (written and spoken) is required.
  • Comfortable with frequent market visits and fieldwork; valid two-wheeler license is preferred.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary, commensurate with experience.
  • Opportunity to work directly with senior leadership in a leading global brand.
  • Exposure to cross-cultural business operations and career growth.
