Job Description
Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Business Head to lead the overall business performance of our 3-Wheeler Automobile segment within a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong commercial leadership skills, automobile industry experience, and the ability to drive sales, operations alignment, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end business performance, including sales, customer retention, and market execution.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, procurement, quality, sales, and service teams to ensure product readiness and timely delivery.
- Develop and execute strategies for dealer/channel management, promotions, and demand generation.
- Monitor orders, dispatches, inventory, collections, warranty, and returns, and take corrective actions.
- Oversee pricing, quotations, and proposals while protecting business margins.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- Lead weekly/monthly performance reviews, forecasting, reporting, and action planning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, or a related field.
- 7+ years of relevant experience in business leadership, sales, operations, or commercial management in the automobile/manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in commercial planning and sales execution.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing-to-market operations, demand forecasting, inventory, and dispatch planning.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing dealership networks or channel partners, preferably in the 3-wheeler or similar vehicle segment.
- Knowledge of warranty, spare parts, and after-sales service.
- Experience with ERP-based reporting, inventory, and dispatch tracking.
