The organization continues to grow with strong support from patients and staff, focusing on breakthrough treatments and brighter, healthier smiles.Role Description The Manager role at Samaj Dental Hospital is a full-time, hybrid position based in Kathmandu, with some work-from-home flexibility. The Manager oversees daily operations across one or more locations, ensuring smooth patient flow, efficient appointment scheduling, and adherence to clinical and administrative protocols. This role includes supervising staff, coordinating with dentists and specialists, managing resource allocation, and maintaining quality and safety standards. The Manager is responsible for monitoring performance metrics, handling patient feedback, supporting budgeting and cost control, and contributing to strategic initiatives that improve service delivery. The position also involves preparing reports for leadership, implementing policies, and fostering a collaborative, respectful work environment.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated skills in operations and clinic management, including scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource planning.
- Strong people management capabilities, such as team supervision, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
- Experience in administrative and organizational tasks, including documentation, reporting, and basic budgeting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, clinical staff, and external partners.
- Ability to use common office and practice management software; comfort with learning new digital tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, Hospital Administration, or a related field; a master’s degree is an advantage.
- Prior experience in healthcare or hospital management is highly beneficial, particularly in dental or outpatient settings.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make timely decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Commitment to ethical, patient-centered care and compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Fluency in English and local languages, with the ability to communicate clearly with diverse patients and staff.
