Job Overview

Mindrisers Institute of Technologies is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable MERN Stack Instructor to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality training in full-stack web development using the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js), mentoring aspiring developers, and helping students develop industry-relevant coding skills through practical learning experiences. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy teaching, guiding learners, and contributing to the development of future software engineering professionals.

Key ResponsibilitiesTraining & Instruction
  • Deliver structured full-stack web development training sessions covering both frontend and backend concepts using JavaScript.
  • Teach core technologies including MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js, and standard web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, ES6+ JavaScript).
  • Explain foundational concepts such as RESTful API development, MVC architecture, CRUD operations, state management, asynchronous programming, and database optimization.
  • Conduct both theoretical lectures and hands-on, interactive coding classes.
Student Mentorship
  • Guide students through real-world web application projects and portfolio development.
  • Provide one-on-one mentorship, code reviews, and constructive feedback to improve students' debugging and programming skills.
  • Help students understand industry best practices, clean code architectures, and current web development trends.
  • Support students in preparing for software development internships and employment opportunities.
Assessment & Evaluation
  • Design programming assignments, coding quizzes, practical exercises, and project-based assessments.
  • Evaluate student code performance, project functionality, and provide timely feedback.
  • Review full-stack portfolios and capstone projects to ensure industry readiness.
  • Monitor student progress and recommend targeted improvement strategies.
Curriculum Development
  • Prepare and regularly update training materials, code repositories, presentations, and case studies.
  • Enhance course content based on emerging web technologies and industry requirements.
  • Develop practical coding exercises that simulate real-world software development scenarios.
Classroom Management
  • Maintain an engaging, interactive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage logical thinking, collaborative debugging, and critical problem-solving among students.
  • Coordinate with the academic team to ensure smooth course delivery.
  • Maintain attendance records, student progress reports, and classroom documentation.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in MERN Stack Development or teaching Full-Stack Web Development.
  • Strong command of JavaScript (ES6+), React.js, Node.js, Express.js, and MongoDB.
  • Good understanding of:
  • Component-driven Frontend Development (React)
  • State Management (Redux / Context API)
  • Server-side Development & Routing (Node & Express)
  • NoSQL Databases & Schemas (MongoDB / Mongoose)
  • API Security, Authentication, and Authorization (JWT)
  • Version Control systems (Git and GitHub)
  • Application Deployment (Render, Vercel, Heroku, or similar)
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
  • Passion for teaching, mentoring, and helping students grow professionally.
Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory)
  • Previous teaching, tutoring, or bootcamp facilitation experience.
  • Basic knowledge of relational databases (SQL) or alternative backend frameworks.
  • Familiarity with TypeScript or Next.js.
  • Experience with DevOps tools, Docker, or basic cloud infrastructure (AWS).
  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum software development workflows.
  • GitHub profile showcasing full-stack web development projects.
