CG Net is looking for a Marketing Manager responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives, enhancing brand visibility, driving customer acquisition, managing campaigns across digital and traditional platforms, and supporting the company's overall business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Positioning
• Develop and own CG NET's overall marketing strategy, aligned to company growth targets and the segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP) framework.
• Define and refine brand positioning against key competitors based on market research, brand awareness studies, and customer feedback.
• Translate business objectives (subscriber growth, ARPU, renewal rate, churn reduction) into actionable marketing plans.
Campaign & Demand Generation
• Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns (digital, print, outdoor, radio, community activations) to drive new connections.
• Manage always-on and seasonal promotional campaigns in coordination with the product & bundling team, Digital Sales, and finance teams.
• Own CG NET's digital marketing channels — website, social media, SEO/SEM, email, and app — and manage relationships with creative and media agencies.
• Design and launch campaigns supporting renewal and win-back efforts in partnership with the CX team.
Market Research & Analytics
• Commission and analyze market research (brand awareness, customer inflow, competitor benchmarking) to inform positioning and campaign decisions.
• Track campaign performance, cost-per-acquisition, and marketing-attributed subscriber growth; report ROI to senior management.
• Monitor competitor pricing, offers, and marketing activity across the Nepal ISP market and recommend response strategies.
Brand & Content
• Maintain brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints, including CX and Front Desk collateral.
• Develop customer-facing communications (offers, service updates, disruption notices) in coordination with CX and branch teams, including localized content in Nepali and other regional languages where required.
• Oversee events, sponsorships, and community engagement activities that build brand visibility in target zones.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Leadership
• Partner with the CX team on lifecycle marketing, retention campaigns, and customer satisfaction initiatives.
• Work with Sales and branch teams to align marketing-generated leads with sales capacity across all branches.
• Manage the marketing budget, agency contracts, and vendor relationships.
• Build, mentor, and manage a small marketing team (content, digital, and field/BTL execution).
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• New connection growth and cost-per-acquisition (CPA) by bandwidth tier and zone
• Brand awareness and preference scores
• Marketing-influenced renewal rate and churn reduction
• Campaign ROI and marketing spend efficiency
• Digital channel growth (website traffic, social engagement, lead conversion rate)
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA preferred.
• 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience, ideally in telecom, ISP, FMCG, or a subscription-based service business in Nepal.
• Proven track record of running integrated campaigns that drove measurable acquisition or retention results.
• Experience managing market research projects and translating data into strategy.
• Prior people-management experience leading a marketing or brand team.
Skills & Competencies
• Strong strategic and analytical thinking, with comfort working from data (ARPU, CAC, churn, campaign metrics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English and Nepali.
• Hands-on knowledge of digital marketing platforms (Meta, Google Ads, SEO tools) and CRM/marketing automation.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple campaigns and vendors simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work closely with multiple stakeholders.
• Budget management and vendor negotiation experience.
