Position: Assistant Manager (Cement Division) for Bhaktapur areaDepartment: Sales
Location: Kathmandu
Reports To: Regional Sales Manager
Job Purpose
To drive cement sales within the assigned territory, manage dealer/distributor relationships, and support the achievement of sales targets and market share growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for the assigned region
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with dealers, distributors, and retailers
- Identify new business opportunities and expand the dealer network
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and pricing strategies
- Coordinate with the production and logistics team to ensure timely supply
- Handle dealer complaints, credit management, and payment follow-ups
- Organize and participate in promotional activities, dealer meets, and site visits
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports (daily/weekly/monthly) to management
- Guide and support junior sales staff/field officers
- Ensure adherence to company policies and pricing guidelines
- Bachelor's degree in related field
- 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in cement/ Hardware/construction materials industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of local market (Bhaktapur Valley) preferred
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory
- Two-wheeler license preferred
- Target-driven and result-oriented
- Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Word)
- Fluent in Nepali; English and Newari language of Bhaktapur is a plus
