Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Executive based in Nepal. The Business Development Executive will identify and pursue new business opportunities, generate qualified leads, and build a strong sales pipeline. The role involves conducting market research, engaging prospects through calls, meetings, and presentations, and managing client accounts to ensure ongoing satisfaction and growth. The individual will collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals, while maintaining accurate records of activities and results. Regular reporting on business development performance and contribution to sales strategy and targets are also key responsibilities.
Qualifications
- Strong new business development and lead generation skills, with experience identifying and converting opportunities.
- Solid understanding of business principles and commercial awareness to evaluate markets and offerings.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to present, negotiate, and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in account management, with the ability to nurture client relationships and drive upselling or cross-selling.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales and business development targets.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Comfort working in an on-site, collaborative environment in Nepal; prior experience in local or regional markets is a plus.
