Position OverviewWe are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Executive to join our team. This role is responsible for increasing hotel revenue through proactive sales activities while enhancing Hotel Meriken's brand presence through effective marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate is passionate about hospitality, relationship building, and creating impactful marketing campaigns.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and develop new business opportunities across corporate, travel, events, and leisure segments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, travel agents, event organizers, and business partners.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns, promotional offers, and seasonal activities.
- Manage and create engaging content for the hotel's social media platforms, website, and digital channels.
- Coordinate photography, videography, and promotional materials to maintain a consistent brand image.
- Prepare sales proposals, contracts, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the hotel at networking events, exhibitions, and promotional activities.
- Work closely with Front Office, Food & Beverage, and Operations teams to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Prepare regular sales and marketing reports and support the achievement of revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, hospitality management, or a related field.
- Previous experience in sales and/or marketing, preferably within the hospitality industry.
- Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of digital marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools is an advantage.
- Excellent command of English and Nepali.
- Self-motivated, creative, organized, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours during promotional events and hotel functions when required.
