Role Description

The Senior Server is a full-time, on-site role based at DOOLWA Camps & Resorts in the Mustang District. This role is responsible for leading table service, taking and delivering food and beverage orders, and ensuring guests receive attentive, timely, and professional hospitality throughout their stay. The Senior Server coordinates with kitchen, oversees section setup and cleanliness, and assists in training and guiding junior serving staff. The role also involves maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety, supporting camp events and group dining experiences, and contributing feedback to improve menus, service processes, and overall guest experience.


Qualifications

  • Strong guest service and communication skills, with the ability to interact warmly and professionally with diverse guests.
  • Experience in table service, order taking, and coordinating food and beverage delivery in a resort, hotel, or restaurant setting.
  • Bar knowledge and experience
  • Capability to lead, mentor, and support junior service staff, including training on service standards and procedures.
  • Solid time-management and organizational skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in handling orders and bills.
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards, hygiene practices, and safety protocols.
  • Comfort working in remote, nature-focused locations and adapting to changing guest needs and camp operations.
  • Previous experience in upscale hospitality, glamping, or resort environments is highly beneficial.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Proficiency in English and local languages is an advantage, along with a polite and inclusive approach to all guests.
