Job Description
Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new customers for coffee beans.
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and business negotiations.
  • Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
  • Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into business opportunities.
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Build long-term relationships with key customers.
  • Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal departments for timely solutions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Provide technical and product information to customers when required.
  • Gather market information regarding coffee demand, pricing, competitors, and customer preferences.
  • Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
  • Submit regular market intelligence reports to management.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
  • Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM or sales management system.
  • Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and payment collection.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and support collection activities.
  • Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams regarding product availability and shipment schedules.
  • Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
  • Support marketing initiatives to increase product visibility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field.
  • Additional training in sales or coffee trading is an advantage.

Experience

  • 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in coffee, agricultural commodities, FMCG, food ingredients, or B2B sales.
  • Experience dealing with institutional buyers and distributors is preferred.
