Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new customers for coffee beans.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Conduct customer visits, product presentations, and business negotiations.
- Prepare and submit quotations, proposals, and sales contracts.
- Follow up on inquiries and convert leads into business opportunities.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
- Build long-term relationships with key customers.
- Resolve customer complaints and coordinate with internal departments for timely solutions.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Provide technical and product information to customers when required.
- Gather market information regarding coffee demand, pricing, competitors, and customer preferences.
- Identify new market segments and business opportunities.
- Submit regular market intelligence reports to management.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates.
- Maintain accurate customer records in the CRM or sales management system.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, logistics, and finance teams to ensure timely delivery and payment collection.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and support collection activities.
- Coordinate with supply chain and logistics teams regarding product availability and shipment schedules.
- Participate in trade fairs, exhibitions, and promotional events.
- Support marketing initiatives to increase product visibility.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, related field.
- Additional training in sales or coffee trading is an advantage.
Experience
- 2–5 years of sales experience, preferably in coffee, agricultural commodities, FMCG, food ingredients, or B2B sales.
- Experience dealing with institutional buyers and distributors is preferred.
