Role Description The Business Travel Sales Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Kathmandu. This role is responsible for identifying and developing business travel opportunities, including corporate and group trekking packages, and building strong relationships with key clients and partners. Day-to-day tasks include managing the sales pipeline, preparing proposals and quotations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring that travel packages align with client needs and budget requirements. The Business Travel Sales Manager collaborates with operations and trekking teams to design tailored travel solutions, monitors sales performance, and contributes to marketing activities and sales strategies. The role also involves market research, regular reporting on sales metrics, and representing North Nepal Trek at industry events and client meetings.

Qualifications

  • Strong Travel Sales and Business Travel skills, with experience selling travel or trekking packages to corporate or group clients.
  • Proficiency in Sales and Sales Management, including lead generation, pipeline management, and client relationship development.
  • Ability to handle Budgeting, pricing, and cost control to ensure profitable and competitive travel offerings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse clients and internal teams.
  • Previous experience in the travel, tourism, or hospitality sector, ideally with exposure to adventure or trekking travel.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on meeting sales targets.
  • Comfort working on-site in Kathmandu and engaging in occasional field visits or client meetings as needed.
  • Relevant education in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related field is preferred; practical experience in a similar role is highly valued.
