Job Description
The ideal candidate is a motivated, organized, and creative individual who welcomes the challenges of acquiring and developing new business through sales efforts. You will build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, and close business deals while maintaining an extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and business opportunities
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of leads across relevant industries
- Reach out to prospects through email, calls, and social platforms
- Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the sales team
- Maintain regular follow-ups to keep leads engaged
- Handle and close small-scale deals (around NPR 20,000–30,000 range)
- Support the sales team in day-to-day BD activities and coordination
- Maintain basic records of leads, outreach, and conversions
- 60% on site and 40% on field during working hours.
Required Skills & Qualities
- Good understanding of business development or sales basics
- Strong communication skills (spoken and written)
- Comfortable with outreach and client communication
- Ability to research and identify relevant leads independently
- Organized and consistent in follow-ups
- Basic negotiation skills for small deals
- Self-motivated and accountable
Good to Have
- Prior experience in sales, BD, or lead generation
- Familiarity with CRM tools or tracking systems
- Understanding of local market and client behavior
