Hiring: Business Development Manager (x-Lab)


x-Lab is the reliable US technology brand designed for everyday Nepalese homes, office and learning spaces. It provides practical solutions across business technology, connectivity, wellness and lifestyle appliances.


Role Purpose:

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding the market presence of x-Lab’s technology solutions across Nepal. The role focuses on identifying new markets, building strategic partnerships, developing clients, and executing growth strategies that increase adoption of x-Lab’s products in homes, offices, and learning environments. The Business Development Manager acts as the primary commercial interface between x-Lab and its clients, partners, and stakeholders, ensuring sustainable business growth through strong relationships and consistent achievement of sales and expansion targets.


Job Description:

• Identify and develop new business opportunities for x-Lab products and solutions across target markets including homes, offices, institutions, and learning environments.

• Execute geographical expansion efforts by identifying new cities, regions, and market segments where x-Lab products/solutions can be introduced and scaled.

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard strategic partners including system integrators, contractors, distributors, institutional collaborators or others to expand x-Lab’s sales network.

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with the company’s growth objectives and revenue targets.

• Identify and plan marketing activities based on geographical markets and product segments, and work closely with the marketing department to execute these initiatives to support business growth.

• Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of potential clients through networking, research, referrals, and outreach activities.

• Coordinate with the Product Manager to ensure proposed solutions meet technical requirements and customer expectations.

• Achieve and exceed defined KPIs including revenue targets, partner acquisition goals, and market expansion objectives.

• Gather market intelligence regarding customers, competitors, procurement opportunities, and industry trends to inform growth strategies.

• Represent x-Lab at events, trainings, and partner visits to enhance brand visibility and generate new business opportunities both inside and outside Kathmandu.


Job Specification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.

• 2-3 years of experience in business development.

• Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication skills.

• Familiarity with CRM systems, sales pipeline management, and reporting tools.
