Barista & Waiter – Full Time | Hotel Anuttara, Boudha

Role Summary


Hotel Anuttara is looking for a skilled and passionate Barista & Waiter to join our café and beverage service team. This role focuses on delivering high-quality coffee and beverage experiences while ensuring excellent customer service and consistency in every cup.

Success in this position means maintaining top-tier beverage quality, creating a welcoming café environment, and leaving every guest with a memorable experience.


Key Responsibilities


Beverage Preparation:

Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following standardized recipes, ensuring consistency in taste and presentation.

Guest Experience:

Provide warm, friendly, and efficient service—greet guests, take orders, and engage with customers to enhance their café experience.

Coffee Expertise:

Handle espresso machines, grinders, and brewing equipment with precision; ensure proper extraction, milk texturing, and presentation.

Operational Management:

Maintain cleanliness of the coffee station, manage stock levels, and ensure timely restocking of ingredients and supplies.

Product Knowledge:

Stay well-informed about menu offerings, coffee origins, brewing methods, and seasonal specials to confidently recommend items.

Quality Control:

Ensure every beverage meets the hotel’s standards for taste, temperature, and visual appeal.

Compliance:

Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and sanitation protocols at all times.


Qualifications & Skills

Education:

Minimum +2 / High School graduate (Hospitality background preferred).

Experience:

Prior experience as a barista or in F&B service is preferred (freshers with strong passion may also apply).

Technical Skills:

Basic knowledge of espresso machines, coffee brewing techniques, and milk steaming.

Communication:

Strong interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional attitude.

Attention to Detail:

Ability to maintain consistency and accuracy in beverage preparation.

Physical Stamina:

Comfortable working long hours on your feet in a fast-paced environment.

Attitude:

Well-groomed, energetic, and passionate about coffee culture and guest service.
