Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, appoint, and develop new dealers while strengthening business relationships with existing dealers across the assigned region.

  • Develop and execute regional sales strategies and action plans to achieve assigned sales, volume, revenue, and market-growth targets.

  • Prepare short-term and long-term regional business plans to ensure sustainable sales growth and market expansion.

  • Lead, supervise, coach, and motivate the regional sales team to maximize productivity, market coverage, brand visibility, and sales performance.

  • Monitor sales performance against targets and take timely corrective actions to address gaps.

  • Analyze regional market trends, competitor activities, pricing, products, schemes, and customer preferences and provide actionable market intelligence to management.

  • Develop strong relationships with dealers, distributors, contractors, painters, builders, architects, consultants, and key customers.

  • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies for market penetration and territory expansion.

  • Introduce and implement effective sales techniques, market-development initiatives, and customer engagement strategies.

  • Coordinate with senior management and relevant departments regarding product development, pricing, promotional schemes, annual marketing plans, and market requirements.

  • Conduct regular market visits to understand customer requirements, dealer performance, competitor activities, and regional business opportunities.

  • Ensure effective implementation of company sales policies, schemes, pricing, credit policies, and promotional programs.

  • Coordinate with Production, Supply Chain, Finance, Marketing, and other departments to ensure product availability and smooth order fulfillment.

  • Monitor dealer-wise sales, collections, outstanding balances, stock movement, and business potential.

  • Prepare and submit regular regional sales reports, forecasts, market intelligence, and performance updates to management.

  • Ensure effective brand visibility and market presence throughout the assigned region.

  • Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by senior management from time to time.

Job Specification

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in business administration, Marketing, Sales Management, or a relevant discipline.

  • Minimum 2-4 years of proven experience substantial experience in a sales management/leadership role.

  • Prior experience in the paint manufacturing industry will be highly preferred.

  • Strong understanding of dealer/distributor management, regional sales operations, market development, and channel sales.

  • Proven ability to develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies.

  • Strong leadership, team management, negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
