Position Summary
The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is responsible for driving sales growth, managing client relationships, and expanding the business footprint in the assigned region. The role demands a strategic leader who can develop and execute effective sales strategies while managing and mentoring a team to meet and exceed targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy and Execution
Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue goals for the assigned region.
Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in the diagnostic/pathology lab segment.
Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to align sales efforts.
Team Management
Recruit, train, and mentor the sales team to ensure high performance.
Set and monitor sales targets for team members, providing guidance and support.
Conduct regular performance reviews and offer actionable feedback.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers, hospitals, and diagnostic labs.
Address client needs promptly and ensure customer satisfaction.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows.
Business Development
Identify potential clients and establish partnerships to expand the client base.
Promote the company’s diagnostic solutions, tests, and services effectively.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create tailored campaigns and promotions.
Reporting and Analysis
Prepare and submit periodic sales reports, forecasts, and market analysis to senior management.
Monitor sales performance metrics and adjust strategies as needed.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Job Specification:
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in Sales & Marketing, preferably in the laboratory or healthcare sector.
Proven experience in managing regional sales operations and achieving targets.
Strong knowledge of healthcare/laboratory market and customer segments.
Experience in team leadership, sales planning, and performance management.
Strong business development and client relationship management skills.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
Valid two-wheeler driving license is mandatory.
