Job Summary
One of our Subsidy company is seeking a Sales Manager for our furniture business. You will lead sales execution, manage customer relationships, and drive revenue growth by coordinating with production and delivery teams to ensure consistent product availability and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end sales performance for the furniture line, including lead generation, qualification, conversion, and repeat business.
- Develop and implement sales plans, monthly targets, and channel strategies for distributors, dealers, and walk-in customers.
- Manage and expand key customer accounts by conducting regular visits, reviews, and follow-ups on orders and payments.
- Coordinate with production and procurement to confirm stock availability, product specifications, and realistic delivery timelines.
- Prepare sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management review and decision-making.
- Monitor pricing, quotations, and discount approvals in line with company margins and market conditions.
- Handle sales-related issues such as order changes, customer complaints, and after-sales coordination to protect brand trust.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies, Management, Marketing, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 7+ years of relevant sales experience in the furniture and/or manufacturing sector, with proven track record of meeting targets.
- Ability to manage stress and prioritize tasks effectively, especially during high-volume order periods and competing deadlines.
- Ability to multitask, managing quotations, customer follow-ups, dealer coordination, and sales reporting simultaneously.
- Ability to perform under pressure, including handling urgent customer requests, delivery coordination pressure, and day-to-day sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM and sales reporting tools (e.g., MS Excel/Google Sheets) to track leads, pipeline, and collections.
- Strong knowledge of sales processes for physical products, including quotation handling, negotiation, and order confirmation workflows.
Nice to Have
- Experience selling furniture products through dealers/distributors and managing trade channels.
- Familiarity with Nepal’s retail and project-based sales cycle (offices, homes, and contractor referrals).
- Exposure to customer relationship management for bulk orders and multi-site deliveries.
