Role Description The Associate role is a full-time, on-site position based in Guwahati. The Associate will support daily hotel operations, including assisting guests at check-in and check-out, responding to inquiries, and coordinating with front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, and other departments to ensure a smooth guest experience. Responsibilities include maintaining service standards, handling reservations, supporting event and banquet coordination, and ensuring that guest areas are well presented and welcoming. The role also involves accurate documentation, adherence to hotel policies and safety procedures, and proactive communication with colleagues and supervisors. The Associate is expected to contribute to a professional, courteous, and guest-focused atmosphere at all times.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and guest relations skills, with the ability to handle inquiries, requests, and concerns professionally.
  • Operational support skills in front office, reservations, and basic administrative tasks, including accurate record-keeping.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with multiple departments and engaging with diverse guests.
  • Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
  • Basic proficiency in using hotel management or reservation systems and standard office software.
  • Prior experience in hotels, resorts, or customer-facing service roles is preferred.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel operations.
  • Relevant diploma or degree in hospitality, tourism, business, or a related field is an advantage.
