About the Role

We're seeking a detail-oriented Curriculum and Course Content Writer to develop syllabus, course, and training materials for our Australian college partners, on a 3-month contract with potential extension based on performance and business needs. This is a writing and instructional-design role — not a graphic design position — focused on structuring and writing course content, not visual design. Fully office-based, collaborating closely with an Australian team.

Working Hours: 8 AM – 4 PM, Monday to Friday

Location: Sitapaila, Kathmandu

Key Responsibilities

Curriculum & Course Development

Write and structure syllabus documents, course outlines, training modules, and assessment materials for Australian college programs, in line with company and compliance standards.
Revise course content based on feedback from compliance officers, team leads, and subject matter experts.
Adapt course materials across formats (e.g., print, LMS-ready, presentation) as required.

Research

Research subject areas to ensure course content is accurate, current, and aligned with industry standards.
Work with Australian colleagues and SMEs to clarify course requirements and learning objectives.

Proofreading & Editing

Review course and assessment materials for grammar, clarity, and consistency.
Ensure materials meet compliance standards and suit the intended learner audience.

Key Performance Indicators

Quality, accuracy, and compliance-readiness of course/syllabus content.
Volume of course materials completed within agreed timeframes.
Efficiency across the course-writing and revision process.
Responsiveness to SME and compliance feedback.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's in English, Education, Communications, or equivalent experience.
Experience writing structured educational or training content is a strong advantage (curriculum writing, instructional design, or training material development).
Strong research, writing, and editing skills.
Exceptional English proficiency.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams).
Able to manage multiple course projects and meet deadlines.
