Overview:

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented, full-time Educational Video Editor & Content Specialist (AI Tools | Short-Form) to produce high-quality, AI-synced tutorial videos and manage our digital media assets. In this remote role, you will spend roughly 70% of your time transforming raw screen captures into polished educational products and short-form social clips, and 30% maintaining file organization and publishing schedules. Working autonomously during US business hours, you will precisely overlay AI voice tracks, micro-adjust visual pacing, and repurpose content across social platforms. The ideal candidate combines strong audio/visual editing precision with expertise in digital asset management and content organization.

Schedule: Monday to Fri, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM CST | With a 1-hour unpaid break (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

• Video Editing & AI Voice Syncing: Transform raw screen captures and lesson footage into polished educational products using Camtasia, Audiate, and SnagIt
• Audio Pacing & Visual Triggers: Overlay AI voice tracks, micro-adjusting video pacing and visual triggers to ensure precise timing between voiceover audio and on-screen actions
• Short-Form Content Repurposing: Extract, reformat, and style short-form video snippets tailored specifically for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Digital Asset Management: Organize digital media files, maintain asset version control, and structure media libraries
• Content Operations & Admin: Manage social publishing schedules, update team content calendars, and provide administrative support across video delivery workflows

Must-Have Requirements:

• Proven experience editing screen-capture, educational, or tutorial video content
• High attention to detail with meticulous audio/visual syncing expertise
• TechSmith software fluency (Camtasia, Audiate, SnagIt) or willingness to master the suite alongside AI voice tools
• Strong understanding of native short-form video formats, pacing, and trends across TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts
• Excellent organizational skills with proven experience in digital asset management and maintaining content calendars
• High-performing mindset with the ability to thrive autonomously and solve problems proactively
• Portfolio Requirement: Must submit a portfolio containing at least one educational/tutorial video example, one short-form social video example, and one example demonstrating AI voice synced precisely to on-screen action

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Experience using social media scheduling platforms (e.g., GetRella, Later, Buffer, Hootsuite)
• Basic graphic design skills (Canva, Photoshop, Figma) for creating video thumbnails and title cards
• Ability to draft engaging social media captions, YouTube descriptions, and relevant hashtags
• Proficiency in mobile-first editing software (CapCut) or advanced editing suites (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve)
