The Sales Manager will lead sales activities, including identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with farmers, distributors, and partners, and promoting the company’s agritech products and services. Daily responsibilities include managing a sales pipeline, conducting product presentations and demonstrations, negotiating contracts and pricing, and ensuring timely follow-up with prospects and existing customers. The role also involves setting sales targets, tracking performance, preparing regular sales reports, and collaborating with marketing and product teams to refine offerings and campaigns. The Sales Manager will mentor and support sales staff, uphold customer satisfaction standards, and represent Farmer Future Technology at local events and industry gatherings.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in sales management, business development, or account management, preferably within agritech, agriculture, or technology-related sectors.
- Strong skills in relationship building, negotiation, and customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly and persuasively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in setting and achieving sales targets, forecasting revenue, and using CRM or other sales tools to manage pipelines and reports.
- Practical understanding of local agricultural practices, market dynamics, and challenges faced by farmers and agribusinesses in and around Itahari.
- Ability to work on-site, travel within the region as needed, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Agriculture, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on results, ethical conduct, and long-term customer partnerships.
- Proficiency in common office software and comfort with learning new digital tools; local language fluency and English communication skills are an advantage.
