Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Staff Nurse role located in Pokhara. The Staff Nurse will oversee the daily care of patients, administer medications, monitor patient conditions, record medical information, and provide post-procedure support. They will liaise with doctors and medical teams to implement care plans, educate patients and families about treatments, and adhere to hygiene and safety protocols to maintain medical standards. The Nurse will also play a role in providing emotional support and compassionate care to patients while ensuring their comfort and well-being.

Qualifications
  • Clinical skills: Expertise in patient care, administering medication, monitoring vital signs, preparing medical equipment, and assisting in diagnostic or surgical procedures.
  • Communication skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams, including providing clear patient education and emotional support.
  • Organizational skills: Ability to maintain accurate medical records, prioritize tasks, manage patient schedules, and ensure timely delivery of care.
  • Knowledge of medical procedures: Familiarity with hygiene standards, infection control measures, and emergency response protocols.
  • Additional qualifications: Active nursing license from a recognized institution, diploma or degree in nursing, and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
