Position: Store Manager
Location: Factory, Simara, Bara
Position Overview:
Jagdamba Steels Limited is looking for a proactive and experienced Store Manager to lead and manage the overall store operations at our manufacturing facility in Simara, Bara. The ideal candidate should possess strong inventory management skills, sound knowledge of store operations, and the ability to ensure efficient material management while maintaining inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall operations of the factory store and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
- Plan, forecast, and manage store operations, including preparation and monitoring of the annual store budget.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock verification and proper documentation.
- Issue store materials against approved requisitions and ensure timely availability of required items.
- Create and approve indents and coordinate with the Procurement Department for timely purchases.
- Ensure all locally procured and imported materials are quality-certified by the respective user before inward entry.
- Conduct monthly physical verification of inventory, investigate discrepancies, and report findings to management.
- Maintain accurate records of all inward and outward stock movements.
- Monitor minimum stock levels, prevent stock shortages, and ensure timely replenishment of materials and spare parts.
- Update inventory transactions in the ERP system, reconcile physical and system stock, and submit daily inventory reports.
- Monitor and control store-related expenses through efficient inventory management practices.
- Ensure proper storage practices to preserve the quality and usability of materials.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department by providing inventory details required for financial reporting and balance sheet preparation.
- Train store personnel on inventory control procedures and continuously improve store processes.
- Prevent overstocking and minimize dead stock through effective inventory planning and control.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 to 7 Yeas of relevant experience in store and inventory management, preferably in a manufacturing or steel industry.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, and ERP systems.
- Good understanding of spare parts management, documentation, and stock reconciliation.
- Excellent analytical, planning, and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
