Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role based in Kathmandu. The Nurse Practitioner will provide direct patient care, including conducting consultations, taking medical histories, assessing client needs, and developing individualized treatment plans for aesthetic and wellness procedures. Daily responsibilities include performing and monitoring aesthetic treatments within scope of practice, prescribing and administering medications as appropriate, and ensuring accurate documentation in patient records. The role involves educating clients on treatment options, risks, benefits, and aftercare, while maintaining high standards of safety, hygiene, and infection control. The Nurse Practitioner will collaborate with physicians and other clinical staff, participate in quality improvement initiatives, and support clinic operations by contributing to protocol development and adherence to regulatory and ethical guidelines.
Qualifications
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license/registration and completed nursing or advanced practice nursing education from an accredited institution.
- Demonstrated clinical experience in dermatology, aesthetics, cosmetic procedures, or related fields; prior work in outpatient or clinic settings is an advantage.
- Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment-planning skills, with the ability to make sound clinical decisions and manage patient care independently within scope of practice.
- Knowledge of aesthetic procedures, skincare treatments, and relevant medications, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous learning.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust, provide clear patient education, and work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Attention to detail and strong documentation skills, including accurate charting, record-keeping, and adherence to privacy and confidentiality requirements.
- Commitment to patient safety, infection control, and ethical practice, including informed consent and professional standards of care.
- Ability to work on-site in Kathmandu on a full-time schedule, with flexibility for clinic hours as needed.
