Recovery Officer

DV Group Of Companies is looking for a Recovery Officer to manage debt recovery and collections operations. The role involves tracking overdue accounts, coordinating with clients/customers for repayment, and ensuring recovery activities comply with relevant laws and internal policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and manage assigned accounts for overdue payments and outstanding recoveries
• Contact defaulting clients/customers through calls, visits, and written communication to negotiate repayment
• Prepare and maintain recovery reports, records, and documentation for each case
• Coordinate with legal/credit teams on cases requiring further action
• Ensure recovery practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policy
• Analyze recovery trends and provide regular status updates to management
• Maintain accurate records in Excel/Word and generate periodic reports

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Finance, or Accounting
• 5 years of experience in recovery, collections, banking, finance, or credit control (experience level based on seniority of the role)
• Sound knowledge of debt recovery procedures and relevant laws/regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and basic reporting skills
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet recovery targets
